  • Neither giving nor receiving care is easy. Elderly Home Care® puts relationships first to support those giving care, to protect the dignity of those receiving care, and to enhance the quality of life for both seniors and their families in every caregiving experience.

If your family recognizes the value of aging in place as we do, you’ve come to the right place. NHC® CAREGivers provide compassionate and reliable home care services to help keep seniors safe and independent wherever they call home. NHC's Senior Care offers affordable in-home care services 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You’ll work with a care coordinator at your local office to set a care schedule that works best for you and your family. Rates depend on your specific care needs and vary by location.

    Types of Care

From personal care services to hospice care support and many care needs in between, our local Home Senior Care offices offer a broad range of services that can be tailored to meet your family’s unique needs and preferences. While the tasks of each service might differ, the goal for all types of care remains the same: To enhance the lives of seniors and their families.

    Alzheimer's, Dementia & Other Conditions

Conditions like dementia or arthritis may come with unique care challenges, but you can lean on us to help you face those challenges. Our specialized training programs equip NHC's caregivers to help seniors cope with their condition while maximizing their capabilities. Home Instead Senior Care services can help meet a variety of care needs related to Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, arthritis, Parkinson’s, diabetes, depression, and other conditions.

    Experienced Care

NHC's Senior Care has over two decades of experience caring for seniors and their families. In that time Nursing Home Care has developed extensive training programs, built on research and experience, so caregivers are prepared to provide the highest quality of care—the kind of care we would want for our own parents, spouse or grandparents. We understand that deciding to use outside help requires a lot of trust and humility, so NHC's Senior Care is committed to not just capable care, but compassionate care.

  • Means: Neonatal means ‘new born’. Neonatal units like ours specialise in the care of babies born early, with low weight or who have a medical condition that requires specialised treatment.

Our aim is to provide high quality individualised care for infants and their families utilising the best available resources and knowledge.

Infants will be cared for by an expert multidisciplinary team in an environment that is supportive of the developing relationship between families and their baby. We value our staff and support their development through appropriate clinical supervision, research and teaching which promotes safe, effective and reflective practice.

    Four levels of care

Within the unit, there are four different levels of care:

    Intensive care

provided for babies who have serious problems, who are very premature (those born more than three months early) and/or have an extremely low birth weight (birth weight less than 1500 grams).

    High dependency care

provided for babies with less serious problems but who still need a great deal of observation and support and for those who are recovering from critical illness.

    Low dependency

provided for babies who do not require continuous observation and/or who are stable and growing.

    Transitional Care

is provided for babies who need some medical treatment but who are well enough to be cared for at their mother’s bedside.
